Jakana Kiryowa Kiwanuka, 26, Ugandan, Muganda, true son of the soil that has lived in 5 countries to date and as such I am a Jak of many traits but not really master of any.

By this time I’m sure you’re like, did this guy actually use his name in a pun and the answer is, yes, yes I did. That is the easiest way to describe me. I enjoy word play because after all communication all comes down to, pronunciation, intonation and intent. With these things you are able to effectively communicate amongst people.

Being able to communicate is a major thing mostly because when you’re in a foreign environment(see more than one country) communication skills are really all you have to make or break your relationships with people and from those relationships, that’s how you learn and that’s how you grow.

Beyond that, I come from a family of 5, two older sisters and my two parents that are the reason I am able to type this today. They taught me it’s OK to have an opinion just you shouldn’t be rude about it, it’s OK to agree to disagree with people, the ability to say sorry and most of all, give people a chance, you never know what they may teach you, good or bad.
