When will your favorite sports be back?

Sports is something that we use to take our minds of the problems around us. But due to the circumstances with Covid 19, Most sports leagues have stopped playing. I can defiantly say no sports at such a stressful time has been incredibly hard.

So I made a list to show you when you are likely to see your favorite sports back in action.

Before we start it’s important to known that none of these ideas are final.

MLB who is determined to salvage there season, that only got through a portion of spring training. Recently announced that they are looking into a shortened game, less travel format.

The details about this proposed format are scarce. But this is what we know.

There would be no fans in attendance. The extended postseason format is no more. And instead of the American and National Leagues there would be three leagues. The west the central and the east.

As you can see these league's based around shortening travel. We also would see Some amazing match ups. If this idea was to gain support it would first need approval from doctors. But could be popular for players like Mike trout, who didn’t want to play the season out in one location. Like Arizona or Florida. Because they would be away from there family for to long.

The NBA hasn’t put out any notable suggestions on how the season could continue. But they are aiming to open the training facilities for the players on May the 8th. It was originally earlier but was pushed back. Strict rules will be in place for all those using a training facility.

Lots of players do agree that the reopening the season is not important compared to some of our over problems.

There are lots of different ideas on how and when the NHL will restart there season but most of them seem to agree on sometime around July.

The NHL is determined not to rule out much. But the one thing they have is a neutral restart. Before they were considering games in North Dakota because of its remoteness. But that failed because of the lack of accommodation and ability to bring in broadcasting crews.

According to Greg Wyshynski of ESPN. The ideal places for each division to play in is. The Home Arenas for the Hurricanes (Metro), Oilers (Pacific) and Wild (Central) while the Atlantic division is yet to nominate a ideal Arena.

Just at the starting point of the season and with a mid May restart being labeled “extremely unlikely.” Cancellation looks like a high possibility for the MLS

How the playoff format works: The winner of each half season Plays in a best of seven series if the same team wins both seasons then the winner of a wild card game plays in the final

How far into the season are they: 21 out of 160 games.

Other information: There are no fans in attendance, It is a very hitter friendly league.

The Belarus soccer league is still in play with limited fans.

And E sports are still going on. Obviously just without fans.

It will be interesting to see witch league will be first to start up. Whatever league does will see a major ingress in views as it is the only league running. This wont just be for the short term, it may be for the long term. If the MLB figures this out, you may see an NBA fan who doesn’t necessarily like the MLB. But decides to watch it and ends up becoming a fan forever.

But for now were sitting at home watching E-Sports or dreaming about the last time you went to a sports game. But don’t worry it won’t be forever.
