Moving a ruby file in your Terminal

Hi All

If you are just starting out in the terminal, like I am sometimes you just create your Ruby file in the wrong directory. I am always forgetting to change directory so my files end up being created in my root directory. If you have this problem then mv is the code for you! This is the code to move a file to the desktop. If you want to move your file somewhere else just change ‘Desktop’ to your files destination.

mv is the command to copy and move the code.

~/Desktop is where file is moving.

The mv command give you the option to rename the file you are moving.

Keep Calm & Code on
