Graham Linehan and his Defense of Paedophiles

The Trump Administration gets criticized a lot. There’s no doubt it deserves it. It is a dreadful era in America’s Political History matched and overshadowed only by every single era before it. Although not often mentioned is the single miracle it performed - it managed to get Graham Linehan to (Briefly) log off.

“Right! Have been thinking about it for a while, but I’m going to deactivate my Twitter account. With Twitter such a cesspool, the least I can do is rob @jack and @biz of one blue tick. I can’t be complicit anymore.

Primary reason is Twitter’s refusal to suspend Donald Trump for his North Korea threat. This was so obviously a violation of their own ToS and they didn’t suspend his account or even try to delete it. Meanwhile, the toilet denizens that brought us every harassment campaign of the last few years have been gaming Twitter’s algorithms in order to ban people for telling verified Nazis to go fuck themselves.

Apparently, we verified accounts get a 12 month period to change our minds after we deactivate. This is Twitter’s very sneaky way of dealing with celebrity flounces. They should ask themselves why people want to leave in the first place.”

It is unfortunate that this occasion turned out to be another celebrity(?) flounce as Graham reactivated his account months later. Maybe he reconsidered and realised he’s right at home on a site full of violent transphobes and Nazis.

Since reactivating Graham has taken up an obsession with trans people. Specifically the hatred of them. An obsession which recently awarded him a letter of support from the equally transphobic Feminist Current. This isn’t the only battle Graham has been fighting, one which often goes unnoticed is his heroic defense of paedophiles. When I tried to tell Feminist Current about this battle by responding to their letter of support my comment was unfortunately removed. Maybe they realize defending paedophiles isn’t actually good? Although the letter is still up on Feminist Current and people are still putting their names forward in solidarity with a paedo defender. Maybe they’re just willing to ignore his defense of paedophiles?

And this isn’t a once off either. Graham even recently downplayed a music artist sending a minor sexually explicit messages.

Due to these acts I am requesting that Graham Linehan takes his own advice:
