Double your ads outcomes in 30 seconds

This is an extremely simple tip, which is extremely simple, and takes about 30 seconds to implement. And yet way too few people do this.

Double your ad outcomes by adding multiple CTAs (Call to Actions) on your landing pages!

It seems so obvious, but I’m always shocked to see how many advertisers have unclear landing pages, where you don’t have obvious next steps and CTAs.

Why spend a lot of money and effort to make ads that’ll bring people on pages where it’s not clear how they can buy your product or service?

If you have only one button in your landing page, that’s not enough. In my experience, you can double (sometimes more) your conversion rate by adding at least 2 or 3 CTAs.

You should definitely have one Above the Fold (ATF), meaning that people can click right away without having to scroll further if they want to. It should be placed within the first hero section, or just below the headline complex, as long as it’s immediately visible.

This is even more important on mobile, where if you don’t pay attention to your page design, the first action may require a swipe to be visible. Plus people are more likely to just look at the first screen they see, and then decide if they want to continue or just bounce. If they don’t see any obvious action or next step, they’re much more likely to leave the page immediately.

Remember that users who scroll down and read the rest of your page with attention are a minority.

Then you should have a button at the very bottom of the page. After people have made the effort of reading through the page (or quickly parsing through the content), you should make it easy for them to move onto the next step. Requiring your readers to scroll back up to find a button is really inconsiderate for your user’s time and mental energy, and will definitely result in lost conversions.

In addition to these 2 indispensable CTAs, a good rule of thumb is that you should have at least 1 CTA per screen. So the longer the page, the more CTAs it should contain.

In my experience, doing this often doubles or more the lead capture rate or the conversion rate. This is probably the easiest and fastest way to improve your results.
