All Missed Opportunities

When you’re in High School, everything in life seems impossible and limitless. You have one goal or many, but none of those compare to the first one. You got to pass that obstacle before starting a new one. You cannot give up and not see the result. The results may surprise you. I know mines did; however, I wasn’t ready. Well, that is how I interpreted it. I came so close yet took two steps backward. Why? For me, this isn’t very easy. I had several emotions swirl around within me back then. During my last year in high school, I wanted to take an easy class. My GPA was in good standing. I did not want that to drop all of a sudden. My English teacher was a handful and a primadonna.

I was surprised because I thought I was a soprano. Another female student who does sing in a choir at her church was put with the sopranos — Whereas here, she was placed in the Alto-Sopranos.

Suppose you are not a music person or have taken a class. The difference between an Alto and Soprano is the pitch. When they sing, their tone is high for a Soprano, like Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, and Lady Gaga. When Altos sing, their pitch is low, like Miley Cyrus, Adele, and Lorde. They do…
