A Bad User Experience

Today I read two Medium stories about ManyStories (I will not link them here). One was by the software developer himself.

It sounded great, it sounded easy.

I trundled over to their site.

No, the ability to log in using Medium is no longer supported.

No, I didn’t get the email link to register.

Against my grain, I used Google to register.

I set up my profile. No problems there.

Then I posted my first link to a Medium story.

I didn’t realize I was on a public service site.

While nothing is for free, Jack Dorsey (yes, and Evan et al) made a pretty good job of it on Twitter.

Pissed me off no end.

I’ll walk.
